Since 1/12/2010, the new Gefahrstoffverordnung (Hazardous Substances Ordinance) has been in force! The new protection concept substitutes the old concept of protection levels. Risk assessments and operating instructions must be reviewed and possibly adjusted.

Since 2008, the GHS "Global harmonized system of classification and labelling of chemicals" with significant effects on the chemicals legislation has been in force. The classification and labelling methodology has been completely changed. R- and S-phrases were substituted by H- and P-phrases and new hazard symbols are to be used in future. Although there are long transition periods, consignments may already today reach you bearing the "new" symbols.  Act now!
